Organic Merlot originating same latitude north africa, grown on steep terraced south facing slopes on the north side of the Applegate Valley at 2500' on highly mineralized soils, drip system, no ground water, rich character development, award winner many times with chateau lorane, these can reach 26-28 brix by the end of september. due to the steepness and altitude, sulphur is seldom necessary. Plants are organically grown with cover crops, lime, cow manure. We hand pick them ourselves, deliver 1.3 tons at a time, leaf and bug free.
